Officially committed to play softball at my dream school.
Life hasn’t been fair to me.
I’ve lost the two most important people in my life, both before I hit the age of 10.
I’ve been told I wasn’t good enough, not fast enough, from the wrong part of the country to do anything with the sport.
I’ve been told “Kids from here? They don’t play college softball. It just doesn’t happen.”
I’ve been cut from teams, not given the “C” after working my tail off on Varsity since my freshman year.
I’ve been the victim of politics within sports.
I’ve had best friends/teammates stab me in the back and say “Why does SHE have coaches here?”
But I’ve done it. I’m going to my number 1 choice school for academics next year, and I’m going to play Division 2 softball while I’m at it. Don’t ever let anyone tell you you aren’t good enough. Only you decide that.
